an introduction to: the soul of wowcube

hello!

i’m really happy to share something very close to my heart—something i’ve made specifically for wowcube. it’s not exactly a "game" in the usual sense. instead, it’s more like a media installation—a kind of quiet experiment, where i stepped away from the usual rules to create something more honest, more personal.

what inspired me most were the japanese *kami*—those spirits believed to live in everyday things, giving them life, presence, even emotion. that’s the soul of this piece: not just a cube in your hands, but something alive. a presence. this is my invitation to a conversation—slow, wordless, but deeply emotional. you feel the cube… and it responds. with light. with sound. with tiny movements. all of it syncing with your mood, your touch, your own quiet thoughts.

just let yourself fall into this rhythm for a bit. maybe afterward, you’ll see objects around you a little differently—maybe even see a bit of soul in them too.

i truly believe even this small prototype shows just how unexpected wowcube can be. it’s not just about pictures and sounds. i’m trying to make every part—visuals, sounds, even the way the cube feels—work together, like a single living design. and i think this approach could open doors to a whole new kind of experience, for new audiences, new ideas.

but really, this is just the start of my dream. here’s what i already imagine for the future:

• cultural souls: imagine customizing these “spirits” based on different cultures—japanese kami, vibrant mexican beings of light, or something ancient and echoing from the arabian nights…
• total immersion: perfect synchronization of visuals, sound, motion, and physical sensation—so the whole experience feels like a kind of synesthetic dream.
• a little bit of play: maybe a puzzle or two, hidden messages, a few playful secrets waiting to be discovered inside the soul of the cube.
• a living conversation: i want to create real back-and-forth with you—touch sensors that reveal thoughts, feelings, even memories from the cube itself.

this world means a lot to me. and it would mean even more to explore it together—with you.
